Backup & Restore App Data

In case you want to backup the app’s data, including your settings, database connections, query favorites, and notebooks, you can do so by making a copy of the folder ~/Library/Application Support/io.dbpilot/.

To later restore the data from the backup, you can copy the folder back to the same location.

To also backup secrets, e.g. database connection passwords or notebook environment variables, make a copy of the “Login” keychain on your Mac. For more details, see https://support.apple.com/guide/keychain-access/copy-keychains-kyca1121/11.0/mac/15.0
